Growing up in Port Harcourt, I watched my mum spend half of every Saturday morning tracking down good frozen turkey and fish at a fair price. The vendors existed. The stock was out there. But finding it meant going from market to market, haggling with three different people, and hoping nothing had thawed by the time you got home.

I started asking around and realised this was not just my mum’s problem. Thousands of households across Port Harcourt were doing the same thing every week.
